I also grew up in in Goodrich, Michigan as one of 6 kids (Doug and I are brothers). I attended GMI Engineering & Management Institute for my undergraduate BSIE degree in Engineering. I then attended the University of Michigan to earn my MBA. I spent roughly 25 years working in Sales and Program Management in the supplier side of the automotive industry. I became an insurance agent in 2014 and have a range of experience in Auto, Home, Life, Health, and Commercial Insurance.
My wife, kids and I enjoy skiing in the winter, our cottage up at Higgins Lake. My biggest hobby is woodworking and building homes, a skill that we learned as kids from my dad. I wished I knew at the time how much I would appreciate what he taught us. This has afforded me the opportunity to understand the contractor trades and their unique coverage requirements.
